Why does the Canadian guy blamed for the snow in the UK?

So Winter has arrived in the Uk.  Woke up to 5 inches of fresh snow today.  Since Syn has gone back to Vancouver I have been spending most of my time out in the country, Dorset to be exact.  I have been having a good time with her parents.  This weeks blog is kind of a jumble of wondering around that part of the country.  Oh and the artsy pics are mixed though out.  Suckers!

This morning.
Before the snow started falling.
Mompesson House.

Japanese Garden

There was a maintaince guy working on the cannons, but I couldn't figure out if he was trying to make them fire?  Would have been cool to see!

"The Badges."  Army badges carved out of the chalk in the rolling hillside.

Salisbury Cathedral.

It has the tallest spire in all of England.
Road home.
Montacute House
Reverse angle.
Driving though the small windy roads though villages you will come across random Estates.

These managed to stay up well past Nov 11th.
As they should I suppose.

Swan.
Shaftesbury.  Closest town to where Syn grew up.

Art.
More Art.
Art getting out of control.
First snowfall.  This is Syn's parents backyard.
2nd snowfall.

Syn's parents.  Anders and Judi.

This is my fav little girl at the moment.  Her name is Kenzie.  My niece.  Isn't she just a bundle of joy! { I didn't take this pic, it was sent to me, and I figure she's just too darn cute to keep to myself!}  And she's a great way to end the blog, and get ready for the holiday blogging.
So that's it for this blog.  I'm going to try and get one more done before the holidays actually get underway.  Looking forward to seeing you all soon!
This is the street Syn and I live on

So they say there are pubs on every corner. They might be right. The green awning with the 13 on it is the enterence to our flat. If you look down to the far right you will see the East Hill Free House, or pub. Closer than I would have ever thought I would live to a pub.

Kites

Later that afternoon we went back to Dorset {In the country} and found this spot high up in the hills and tried to fly a kite. Thanks to the help of another man who clearly knew how to fly a kite we where able to get the silly thing up in the air. Turned out to be quite a bit fun!
